Sampling
Sampling exists to move decisions off the drawing and onto a physical garment while the cost of being wrong is still one sample.
Size Development
Size development is the discipline that decides whether a garment sold as a full size set actually works at every size in that set, and whether a measurement deviation on a shipment is a defect or an accepted variation.
